Finals are the vowel (and nasal) part of a syllable — a, o, e, ai, ang, and more. Mandarin has 36. Master them and any syllable becomes pronounceable.

The 36 finals below are grouped into core and extended. Combine any initial with any final and you have a valid Mandarin syllable.
